Applicants CPAT Testing Schedule

CRFR will be hosting CPAT testing sessions for applicants for CRFR’s open position. Successful completion of the test will result in a certificate that is valid for one year and accepted by any department that utilizes the official CPAT.

Schedule:

Orientation Sessions (Optional, but strongly encouraged):

  • Wednesday, April 22, 2026 | 1800–2200 | Station 64
  • Monday, May 4, 2026 | 1800–2200 | Station 64

Practice Sessions: (Note: These sessions may be used as an official test if completed successfully)

  • Saturday, May 23, 2026 | 1800–2200 | Station 64
  • Wednesday, June 10, 2026 | 1800–2200 | Station 64

Final Test Date:

  • Tuesday, June 16, 2026 | 1800–2200 | Station 64

Important Requirements:

  • Long pants are required.
  • Helmets/hard hats and gloves will be provided; however, you may bring your own if preferred.
  • Please arrive early to allow adequate time for preparation and completion of required paperwork.

The CPAT (Candidate Physical Ability Test) is a standardized pre-employment physical ability test developed by the IAFF/IAFC Task Force to ensure fire fighter candidates are truly capable of performing critical job tasks.

  • Completion within the past 12 months is required as part of the application process.
